Boy, if you are a Falcons fan you gotta figure that a chance at Bill Cowher could be the only good news. I think that he is the only marquee name available that could right the ship down there. In terms of Petrino, though, the good news is that you got rid of him quickly before he could do as much damage--imagine if Mike Vick had the QB, you're trying to make the playoffs and this happens? Disaster.
Note to Atlanta management (this means you mr. Blank): Didn't petrino run out on a couple of other jobs early and flirt with other jobs just about every season for the last few? Did you really expect him to change his stripes?
